Join us on Saturday August 19 at 5:00 p.m at Honfleur Gallery in Historic Anacostia for the opening reception for the Black Magic: AfroPasts/AfroFutures exhibition curated by Niama Safia Sandy!

Featuring the work of Chloë Bass, Pierre Bennu, Jamea Richmond-Edwards, Adama Delphine Fawundu, Ivan Forde, Adrienne Gaither, Charles Jean-Pierre, Tariku Shiferaw, and Danny Simmons, Black Magic: AfroPasts/AfroFutures is a multidisciplinary exhibition in exploration of magical realism and Afrofuturism as creative expressions and survival tactics across the Black Diaspora.

The exhibition will remain on view through Saturday, October 7.
